Rena WatersonWell-made, light -weight and sturdyIt's a nice elevated dog bed. Nicely made with strong frame. I think it will sag after awhile since out pup is just 40 lbs and will get much bigger. DEFINITELY TAKES TWO PEOPLE FOR THE LAST PART. Getting the last leg attached takes two people.

coachGPAwesome price for a chew proof bed!I have had an issue with dog beds for my American bullies. They chew through beds & demolish the frames. With this bed I’ve yet to purchase another because they can’t get to the fabric. They may scratch the frame & fabric but so far they with stand the daily abuse! I was about to order the more expensive brand name bed but I’ve found one that I can trust!

Sassys IdahoWorth the price; great qualityI had 2 cots from another company and my dogs chewed holes in both. I've had this one for a while and they haven't chewed a hole yet. I am actually buying another one since I liked it so much. It is a little more expensive than the others, but totally worth it since you only have to buy it once instead of continuously replacing the chewed up ones.

HartWhen I saw it, I liked the idea, using mesh to allow airflow that then keeps the pup from overheating. The pup, however, doesn't find it very comfortable. She will lay on it for short periods, but I thought that it could be her summer nighttime bed. She runs hot, so summer means that she shifts from one location to the other, looking for cool spots. A typical memory foam bed, while obviously comfortable, keeps too much heat in the area she's lying. We have used one of the cooling pads on a foam bed, and it helped, but even that gets warm after a couple of hours, and so off she goes looking for cool spots. We replaced her normal bed and then put this in the living room. She'll go lay on it for maybe 15 minutes be for sliding off of it. Because it has some give, it must be more comfortable than a hard floor, so maybe she doesn't care for the way its mesh feels?Construction-wise, it's well made. It wasn't too difficult putting three of the corners together, but the fourth, well it almost made bad words happen. It requires a lot of prying of the two bar sections and then twisting it over and then quickly popping on the top cover. Putting the first three corners together combined took less time than the fourth corner. Once assembled and the bolts (small Allen wrench included) are tightened up, it's a solid frame. While our pup may not like it, I'm not taking any stars off for that reason. I know all too well that dogs are like people, and not everyone likes the same as the next. The construction is very good. Once assembled, it's a solid frame that I expect will last a long time. The mesh (grey and black) looks good and does a good job of releasing hairs when vacuuming it.

runrungirlSo far, so goodTrying to keep our youngest Catahoula cool and comfortable while he spends times in the great outdoors has been an expensive, frustrating exercise in futility - UNTIL NOW! Last Summer, the hooligan chewed through four Coolaroo covers. The material is just SO inviting. With his head resting on the side of the coolaroo, he just starts gnawing on the cover and within an hour the entire cover has been chewed off the frame. Fortunately, a couple of months ago I stumbled across this awesome bed and decided I'd give it a try. Putting the thing together was a bitch, but once it's together, the edge of the material is covered and the thing can't be chewed off the frame! He loves it (and shares it with his older, more responsible brother) and it's been holding up wonderfully. The only bad thing is that I don't think there are replacement covers if something were to happen.
