Krystal HSSD Ensign Approved!I ordered a LG size as I knew that via the measurements given, an XL would be too big.Ensign is my service dog so I will make sure that before I review or give my opinion as his partner that the product is safe and test things thoroughly. This one definitely is safe and sturdy. For reference, Ensign is a 64 lb lab retriever. His age is currently 4 with no medical or mobility issues. The bed frame is solid and made with durable material. All the pieces came in the box and wasn't too bad to put together. My only "ding" on my review will be that one of the upper side rails was so snug that it was difficult to align both sides at the same time to insert it into the base bar. It was only one side that I had an issue with... but as you can see... I did it. Yay me!The 'bed' has a little give to it so its not like sleeping on a brick. Yes, I laid my head and a kid curled up on it to confirm. Don't judge me... like I said, I test things thoroughly. If your animal may need more warmth, padding or fluff, I'd recommend getting a cheap plush comforter to lay across it (twin size, folded would be perfect). This will allow the extra padding with an easy machine washable option for those pups who may be stinky, dirty or fuzzy shedders. If you've survived this review, I appreciate you.

JenniferMy dog loves it!My golden retriever service dog absolutely adores this bed!! It took him a couple days to get used to having a bed with a railing on it, but once he figured it out, he loved being on it so much that he didn’t want to leave it. He sleeps there, he watches tv there! The bed is nice and sturdy for larger dogs. We probably could have gone with a bit of a smaller size, but he enjoys stretching out sometimes, so I feel like this was a good size for him.Definitely five stars ⭐️ and more, A+++++! Highly recommend.

E.Y.Easy to assemble and looks nice! The raised pet cot was easy to assemble and came with its own set of tools. The materials appear to be of high quality and looked really nice once everything was put together. This’ll make for a raised cot-type bed for your fur baby. Highly recommended!

Jason Jgood quality and good lookingThere are some peculiar smells, it needs to be watered and dried two or three times, the quality is very good, wear-resistant, the paws can not be scratched, the middle mesh hollow design increases a certain degree of air permeability, and it is also easy to clean, cheap and durable dog bed, not yet assembled Upon completion, damage was found. Quality inspection should be stricter

Dee BellSturdy dog bedThis is a good sturdy bed. Assembly was easy enough. Had it close to a year now. IMO it needs a cushion. My dog 4y/o 35-40 lbs would only use it with a-soft firm cushion. He is past the chew everything stage so, no issue with that. Its not too heavy to move when needed. Metal. I would recommend.

ClaraDNot for those that NEED instructions. Read this first!I like this bed a lot. It’s exactly what I was looking for. I’ll be honest - I feel for the size of it, it needs a middle brace but time will tell if I’m right. I never write reviews but feel I need to, as it may save other buyers some frustration and time. The instructions are LIES! The pieces in the diagrams are not the same as the ones you get, and the instructions therefore, are nonsense. If you follow them you will get to Step 3 and have to undo your work. The bed still goes together fine provided you do not try to screw the legs into the base first (as told to do so by the instructions). Nope. These instructions are for the imaginary pieces shown… that you do not get. You have to put the side legs in place, then push the top edge pieces into the bottom legs and THEN screw it together. Am I mad about it? No, it was 10 mins of my life lost - no big deal. But they have made such a beautiful song and dance over printed instructions and a cute little packet that comes with the bed that you would think that what they’ve paid to have printed would actually be accurate. Perhaps this was designed by somebody trying to get the last laugh!? You didn’t. I am smarter than your hypothetical directions thankfully. Aside from that, I would buy this again provided it holds up. I would have given it 5 stars if it had a middle brace and instructions that were accurate. One tiny thing… based on the size I got, I do wish it was a couple of inches deeper but that’s not a deal breaker. If you buy this and read this first… you’re welcome. I wish I’d had this to read before I built it
