DomI got this as I was fed up with washing the other dogs bed when the puppy wee'd and also our elderly Rottie was groaning abit when getting up off the floor. He loves this bed and is sooo comfy on it. Being raised makes it so much easier for him. We also put a couple of big cushions on there for him too. We got the Large which is big enough for him and our Westie but a bit of a squash when the puppy Bull Mastiff gets on it too so we are now waiting for the XL one to come into stock.

katpattCovering with sheet or blanket may save you grief!I have three dogs (45lbs, 55lbs, 110lbs) and a cat who thinks he's a dog who all love sharing this bed. The largest of the muttly crew however also LOVES his trampoline, which is comparable with the feel of the standing bed. I think what has saved me so far is the twin fitted sheet I covered it with. I put bed legs and all in the sheet so he wouldn't try to remove it. So far, so good! Probably need another one!EDIT** Just over a year later with CONSTANT use, the center leg has come unwelded from the frame. The bed still holds up, but I'm worried about how much longer it'll last.

CustomerWould RecommendDecent bed...seems to hold a bit of “dog smell” - take that with a grain of salt. We have 3 dogs and 1 is elderly. Our dogs like it but the one we bought it for tends to like being on the more cushioned beds on the floor. Perhaps we need to add more blankets for him...but they do use the bed and we are considering buying more.I would recommend this to others whose dogs like to be elevated. Ours typically like being up on outdoor furniture and the bed when we allow it.1 person assembled. Took maybe 10-15 minutes.
