CocoIt's A GREAT Bed For A Digger! Our dog is a destroyer of all things, so I was on a mission to find a bed that wouldn't be destroyed by her digging habits. I have heard digging at all hours... yes, she's digging on / digging up her nice new bed too! But this Chew Proof elevated dog bed has held up very well since January. Digging a hole to go to sleep. Digging a hole because she is mad at us. Digging a hole for a nap! I know! It's only been 3 months. Well, that's a lot better than 3 days, that's for sure. It is also very comfortable for her, and I can easily wash down the bed with soap and water. It's sagging in the middle, but hey, she sleeps there all the time and loves it. I love that it is not destroyed. Yet. 5 Stars.

Scott FlorackLove these beds, so we have four.We have two dogs and frequently foster others. Our dogs have destroyed every bed we've ever bought them, including the "indestructible ones". (BTW, even the ones that have lifetime warranties on their covers only provide one replacement, so not quite lifetime.) These beds have metal rails on all four sides that protect the ends of the canvas from chewing. Our dogs aren't avid diggers, but I've seen them occasionally scratch at the canvas material, and they haven't made a single hole or even imperfection.

sue websterIt does what it says! Totally chew proof! It did take two of us to put it together right at that last corner (there's got to be another way to design it?) But it was worth it. It's very strong material, try he frame is strong metal too and we loved the dog feet details! The dogs are so proud it's ridiculous and the distructive one's plan was foiled!

Prime CustomerSeems great so farThis thing is pretty simple. Stretched material over a low base. Our dog has used it a few time, I imagine it will be more during the summer. Other than the dirty paws leaving pawprints, I see no issue with this. Hopefully it stands up to our crazy weather. I could see this being a favorite for out dog. It makes my wife feel better about the dog being outside a chunk of the day so I see it as a win! The dog loves to chew, so we're gonna have to see if she starts on this, but hopefully she will just start napping on it and be content with something better than concrete or grass to lay on.
