janellsmomIt doesn't foldThe extra large is really big. My dog is big but everything you order now adays is usually smaller than what you need. So I ordered extra large to be on the safe side. I could have gotten a large and he would still had enough room to spread out. You do have to assemble the whole thing. It is very well instructed. My only issue is it doesn't fold up to take it camping. I guess I could take it all apart but I would prefer something foldable. It seems to be great quality so far. My pup loves it and sleeps on it all the time

They aren't chew proof (the corners are plastic) however the inner mesh seems to be thicker than other brands that we currently also own (we have 6 hammocks of 2 different brands at the present moment- 3 dogs, 3 inside and we have 3 of these outside). The dogs love them though! They last longer even with chewing than dog beds with stuffing do. We go through at least 6 of these per year for one reason or another and we will continue to buy. They are some of the best prices I've found
