Veehoo Dog Car Seat

I had actually got this for my 18lb Maine coon cat! My cat can't be in a carrier in the car or he goes into a panic attack and then gets sick. I've gotten him a seat belt already but then he just tries to run and jump and I'm afraid he's going to end up hurting himself. So I thought this would work better. At the moment I have it sitting in the bedroom by the window where he likes to sit so hopefully he'll get use to it.

This Veehoo Dog or Cat Booster Car seat came very well packaged, and is well made, and though it came with no instructions, it was easy to assemble, but if you need them there are instructions on the listing. Unlike some other carriers that I have seen, this one has a super comfy pillow for your companion to sit or lay on. I like that the lining is Velcroed in so you can remove it and the pillow for occasional washing. My favorite thing about this particular seat is that it is height adjustable so that your pet can see out the windows. This cozy little travel seat is definitely for a small dog or cat. I can recommend it.

There would probably be room for a bit larger animal if the removable pillow wasn’t so luxuriously plump. It fits snugly, but is held in place with velcro for added security. The extra wide strap loops around the headrest of your car seat and can be used in the front seat or the back seat. It installs in minutes. The strap is also reflective, an added safety feature when using the booster as a sling style carrier for your pet. There is another adjustable strap with an easy to operate buckle that encircles the back of your car seat to help hold the booster seat in place. The outside has a handy zippered pocket for accessories. The base of the booster seat is sturdy and has a safety leash secured to it. The booster seat frame is metal rod for extra strength, but it isn’t heavy to carry. This booster seat also doubles as a sling style carrier that can fit around the back of your neck and allows you to carry your pet facing forward when taking a walk. Your fur baby will absolutely love this booster seat because they will be able to see what is going on while riding with you in your car.

The frame is very stable and keeps it's shape unlike some other soft sided carriers I have seen. The plush liner is very nice and the pillow is almost decadent. The straps for carrying are sturdy and attach easily as are the ones for attaching it to the car backrest.

It is very sturdy and made out of very quality materials, and there is only one area that I thought should have been reinforced that I put in the pictures. I don’t think it will be a structural issue, it just looks unfinished. I thought it was odd that there were no instructions to put it together, but there was a very extensive catalog of other items that the company sold. I was able to figure out how to put it together with no problems, but I do think it’s important for some people to have instructions. The bucket seats in my car have a curved back and the dog car seat is very square, so it did not fit flush against the back, but it did not seem to move around like I thought I would. It does have a tether/leash to keep the doggo in the car seat. My little princess loved being up higher and able to look outside while I was driving around. She was also comfortable enough when she got tired she just laid down and went to sleep.

If your dog likes to look out the window, this is your car seat. My yorkie likes to look out the window during the first part of our trips. She’s will settle down and sleep for most of the trip but until she gets tired or bored, she watches the scenery go by. Unlike the car seat I recently bought, this one can be adjusted to the height needed to boost the seat so that she can look out.

Not only is this great because you don’t have to worry about your animal running around the car and getting hurt because you might get in an accident, but you don’t have to stick your animal in a cage. I feel they are more comfortable seeing you and seeing what’s going on. “Just my opinion “. But these are easy to operate and fit nicely in your seats. I would definitely recommend this to any animal lovers.

My small dog weighs about 16 lbs and this was the perfect sized booster seat for him. It is well made and seems to be durable so far. I would definitely recommend to anyone w/ a small dog.
