Lord knows my cats have everything they need and lots more, but when I saw this, I had to get it. It is a perfect size for a cat hideaway and all three of them use it. So far, only one has gone inside and stayed, but the other two both like lounging on top.

My cats like this house - it sits on the bed that I have put up in my bedroom for the cats to sleep on. It provides two levels for the cats to sleep in (my cats don't sleep in the bottom if it's on the floor). So far, it works in the daytime- the cats prefer to sleep with me on my bed at night. This house is high quality - it was easy to assemble and a welcome addition to my permanent collection.

This cat house/bed is effortless to assemble, and I love that it is collapsable for easy storage if necessary. My cat loves it and spends most of her life curled up on the top part. She hasn't taken to the cave, which surprised me. She also has not used the scratch pad; she prefers her taller scratch post or my wool rug. The only thing I would change would be to add a washable cover for the bed pads. Our older kitty is a little incontinent; either way, pet beds need to be washed occasionally. Instructions say to wash these only by hand, as I think the solid base inside is thick cardboard. We put a round heated cat bed on top of this pad, and it fits perfectly; she is very comfortable there, and I can throw it in the wash. Otherwise, this is a nice-looking bed that I don't mind having in my living room, and the cat is very happy with it.

I like this little cat house and more importantly so does my cat. (I have a stray that showed up. He seemed in good condition and I didn't want to cat-nap him but after lots of signs and detective work we found out he was dumped. I was going to transition him inside slowly but I put up a camera and found out how much wildlife he was killing behind my back and so he came into the all season porch the next day. It has gone surprisingly well as an indoor cat but he likes to spend the majority of his time on the porch watching all the yard action. He has a cat tree since he likes to climb but I wanted to give him some varying height options. I put it in a nice sunspot in front of the glass door so he can perch and watch.) I chose the grey and it was super easy to set-up. Out of the box and set up in 2 minutes, no tools, just unfold and put in the two inserts. You can use the inserts on either side (one is the same felt used inside and hard, the other is a soft cushioned side). I added a fleece blanket to top and he likes to use it as part of his cat parkour course as well as a perch. I also figured I can throw that in the washer and dryer easily. He doesn't use the bottom really but he doesn't seem to like any enclosed spaces so he's not really a great gauge there. He is a medium-size cat at about 11.5 lbs and both the top and bottom fit him plenty well and would fit a cat bigger than him or two kittens/juveniles. As for the scratch pad, it adds some visual interest I suppose but I am not sure how useful it actually is. I could see kittens using it but not so much for bigger cats. My cats have all historically liked a scratcher that has some weight to it and that they can fully stretch against; that is not this. It's not tall enough and although the bed is sturdy for what it is, it does not have the weight or the heavy duty feel of a full size scratching post. Like I said, maybe good for kittens and I certainly don't think it takes anything away from the cat bed, I just can't see most full-size cats using it. Overall, I like this cat house. It is collapsable and easy to store but still feels sturdy and my cat likes it. As of 1/24 he has been using it for a little over a month and as long as it lasts, I will be happy. If anything should change, I will update my review.

This was super easy to assemble quickly (just like those collapsible fabric bins) and the cats immediately were curious. It's sturdy enough for the cats to easily sleep in the main part or the top. However, the cushions are kind of weak. My only other complaint is that while I like the scratching feature, this item is not heavy/stable enough to stay put with a cat scratching it if it's empty.

Our cats love this. We have ours set up near a window and they can climb inside the interior if they want away from the direct light, but still want to be near the window warmth. Most of the time, they are sitting on top looking out the window happily. It's nice because it folds up easily, but it's sturdy for them to climb on. It includes a pillow which is small enough to be thrown into regular wash without any special handling. I can't tell what the material is on the inside, but we have not gotten it wet and will try not to because I have a theory it may be paper-based. Not sure, but it still seems like a great quality piece and it wouldn't be far-fetched for it to be cardboard since a lot of cat products are. It is lightweight and easy to clean.

I recently ordered the Veehoo Cat House/Bed in grey, and I am very pleased with my purchase. The product feels incredibly well-made, and it is big enough to hold my heaviest 16-pound cat, my 14-pound cat, or my little 8-pounder separately or all at once. As soon as I set it down, my oldest cat went straight for the hiding hole and was thoroughly enjoying himself.
