The 3" high-density foam provides a soft cushion, which I believe will be appreciated more as our ten-month-old puppy grows. The four-sided bolsters are perfect for curling up, though our pup is currently more interested in playing with it.

CCUSAI Requested Medium Which is Puuuurrrrfect for 7-10 Pound Cats. Has a Handle Which I Also Like.This is really a nice bed and my cat loves the bolster around the edges. When I unpacked this she immediately began hauling her toys into the bed and really seemed to like it. As another reviewer indicated in addition to acting as a headrest the bolster seems to provide a sense of security they really like.
