Marie TayseThe medium is huge!!I ordered this elevated dog bed in a medium for our eight month old longhair chihuahua's bed because our four month old shepsky likes to pee in his "big" sister's bed. I am hoping that by raising the bed off the floor, the younger pup will do his business elsewhere (preferably outside). I ordered a medium, thinking it would be the perfect size for her bed that is bigger than her. However, I was completely blown away by how big this thing was once it was assembled. If this is a medium, I would hate to see a large! It is entirely too big for our chihuahua's bed, but luckily it is the perfect size for our shepsky's bed; so we can still get some use out of it.It was not easy to put to together, but we managed. It is very sturdy and would hold up probably a hundred pound pup. It's stylish and durable. Our chihuahua can easily get in and out of it, so obviously the shepsky has no trouble at all. The medium is approximately three and a half foot long and two foot wide. Also don't be misled by the item description. It just includes the elevated frame for the dog bed, not a dog bed itself. You will have to buy the bed (or mattress) separately, unless you already have one you plan to use with it.While the medium size is enormous compared to our 6.2 pound chihuahua, it is the perfect size for 27 pound shepsky pup. I am considering ordering a small for our chihuahua.

ClawIN LOVE!I love this wooden bed frame. It does NOT come with a mattress but can fit any standard size pillow or placed blanket. Anyways out of the box it comes with wooden pieces and nails. You do have to have your own screw to be successful. It comes with an instruction manual that is very easy to maneuver and took less than an hour to build and was easy and quite fun. It fit my dog and cat perfectly and seeing them cuddle was the most precious thing ever! The grey wood is stained but very durable and seems to be able to hold a lot of weight. The only bad thing is that the leg is only held in by 3 nails and the fourth hangs off. My pup and kitty are light but if they were over 30lbs I would wo9rry. Other than that I definitely recommend to other pet parents. Thank you!

Deanna Del RioAdorable, Sturdy Pet Bed (once you figure out how to assemble it).Plain and simple - this pet bed is freaking adorable! Its a pet version of a mid century modern bed, and I love it! Here's the breakdown of pro's and con's:Pro's: 1. Modern sleek design. 2. Quality materials and hardware 3. Durable construction and sturdiness 4. My cats all love it and it's big enough for my biggest cat, who is almost 20lbs (I ordered the small).Con's: 1. It doesn't come with the padded bed pictured, and for this price point, it should. 2. The instructions refer to lettered pieces, but non of the pieces came lettered. Based on vague instruction photos, you had to guess which piece was which. Also, some of the instructions skipped required steps. My daughter put this together for me and it took her under an hour to get it together, despite of the wanky instructions, so the great design appeal and durable construction make the pros far outweigh the cons.

AmandaDog approved and looks niceI got a size large for our border collie mix (40lbs) and terrier mix (28lbs). They sleep together at night. This thing is super sturdy! I got it anticipating that at any point the toddler and both dogs will be in the bed at the same time. I do beginner carpentry as a hobby and I can tell you the set up went much faster by pre-drilling holes in the legs and the screw sites for the square base plates. Also using a drill to screw in all the screws for the cross boards makes it go much faster and it’s actually worth pulling out your drill for it. The design is perfect for our house as we love mid mod style. That being said, I feel like this dog bed would look great anywhere. For people with older dogs: I was able to slip in an electric cord through the slats for the heating pad (set to low) that our pups use. I’m very very pleased with how this bed turned out. Up next: probably going to buy the mattress from Veehoo to provide some nicer looking cushion for my pups.

Nicholas CalderoneSturdy bed with a few assembly issuesWe have an outdoor cat that sleeps in our garage at night. She was a stray and we started giving her a place to sleep because we didn’t want her to have to fight the weather. For a while, her bed was just a pile of blankets, so we decided to upgrade her bedding to include this wooden frame. We thought it might help keep her warmer if her bedding was elevated. We got the small size options which ended up being the perfect size for her. We put her existing bedding in the frame and the cat took right too it.The bed is made out of really durable wood material. The outer frame actually seems to be a lot more durable than some of the inner pieces. The slats are made out of a soft wood - possibly pine - and when you start connecting with the pieces with the provided hardware, some of the wood does crack. Since we were making this for our cat, we didn’t worry about it too much since the frame didn’t have to hold much weight. But, if you get one of the larger sizes and have a sizable dog, it might be something to worry about. If the slats and the frame base had pre-drilled holes, that might help with the cracking. One of the only real issues we had with the assembly was that the feet are mean to be attach to a metal plate and then that plate is screwed into the bottom of the frame. The feet didn’t have pre-drilled holes so you had to hold it still while you tried to screw the plate on. I ended up sticking one of the screws through the center of the foot and that helps stabilize it a little. On the other side of this part of the assembly process is attaching that plate to the base. When you do that, there are only three points that actually attach to the base. It would have been nice if the frame had been designed to include all four points of the foot plate, but it wasn’t.Overall, this is a nice option for an elevated pet bed. It is quite heavy and should hold up well over time. Since it is made with real wood, I would recommend making sure it stay clean and dry so the wood doesn’t warp over time.

RVPMy puppy loves his new bed!The Veehoo Wooden Elevated Dog Bed (mattress is not included) arrived fast and well packed. You only need a screwdriver to put everything together, instructions are straightforward, all parts and screws are included, and holes were pre-drilled. Assembly took me only 20 mins.My puppy is around 65 pounds, so I bought the large one in grey, and its perfect for him.The bed seems sturdy and durable. The wooden is odorless and screws are hidden. It was hard for me to find the matching mattress in their store, but I just search it in : “Veehoo Orthopedic Mattress”, and voila! found it.They offer a 1 year warranty, from their website: “warranty does not cover damage caused by accident, improper care, negligence, normal wear and tear, or the natural breakdown of colors and materials over extended time and use.”

CoralSturdy and StylishNice elevated dog bed. This item was very easy and straightforward to assemble, if you’ve ever put furniture together before. Even with no experience, the only thing a person might need directions for is the turn screws.Product did come with instructions with illustrations, however, it was very obvious how things went together and I never had to look at them. I used a power screwdriver and got it done in about fifteen minutes.Once assembled, the dog bed is a good looking piece of furniture. It’s got the legs that match my retro vintage room, yet could fit in with any style. This bed is very, very sturdy and strong. It could hold a fairly heavy dog with no problem.Elevated bed makes it so much easier to clean the floor under it and have a more sanitary living space. That was very important in the decision to order this product. My dogs rejected the hammock type bed, but I put a mattress in this, and the intended doggy owner jumped right in.

Casper & Boolove it overalltop corners are hard/sharp feeling and will hurt your shin!!!! may very well also hurt a wild running dog too..with that said, we like this nice looking elevated dog bed FRAME. some nicks but, no real damage to it, went together easy enough and there are plenty of bed mattress to choose from other than makers versions. we got two mattresses and chose to use the following one which fits well to us even though it is about 1-2” too short width wise(front to back) but, you can’t tell much especially with toys on back part: https://smile..com/gp/product/B09C1HBDY6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1in pic is our 2.5 month old, at the time, german shepherd who was i think 28lbs in the pics. Even though this is a large frame, am not so sure it will be adequate when he is full grown and will be much longer/bigger. so to me this bed frame is more for larger medium size dogs and below. but, a larger breed who likes to ‘curl up’ to sleep could do so too in this large size in the end..

funbearnice bedI received the brown elevated pet bed in the small size. This is for a 5 lb. Maltese and is more than bigenough for him. I definitely needed some tools to put it together, but it was pretty simple andstraightforward – a lot like putting together Ikea furniture. It is very sturdy with no wobble to it. I likethis bed because it has a bit more of a formal look than most dog beds. It actually looks like a piece offurniture. The quality of the wooden material is very good. Also, all parts and screws, etc., wereincluded. I wasn’t missing anything the way someone else was who left a review. The legs are 4” high, and the frame on the front reaches 7” high (10” on the other three sides), so mydog is still getting the hang of getting in and out of it, but he’ll get used to it.What I don’t understand is why the seller doesn’t have a listing for orthopedic foam beds/pads that fitthis bed frame. There is a photo on this listing page, but it isn’t a clickable link. When I went to theseller’s store, I couldn’t find one there either. Maybe they are out of them? So, what I did wasput a standard size pillow with a coordinating pillowcase (matches my other furniture) in the frame ontop of the wooden slats. The standard size pillow is a perfect fit for this small size bed! So now I don’teven need a foam pad
