Veehoo Orthopedic Foam Dog Bed

It was nice but the foam the way it was cut is uneven and there was a rip in the cushion small but still. The cover that goes over it is nice but the zipper keeps opening on it’s own which is frustrating. Also the covering the way it’s made/sown is a little uneven on the sides and you can tell once you place the cushion on the inside. Maybe I just got a defective one.

I got the extra large size for our living room. It easily fits my medium size dog AND my 9 year old! They love snuggling on this bed together. The cover is soft and easy to remove and wash.

This is a bed that is nice and thick foam that is fairly firm...I would recommend it for an older dog who needs lots of cushioning. My dogs like it just fine.

Earlier last month I got a cot for my dogs and only one of them really likes it. I ended up getting this mattress instead and all three fit perfectly together and sleep on it daily. It comes very well packaged and has a nice easy to wash slip cover. I highly suggest for bigger dogs, and older dogs that need a mattress for comfort.

He likes it, but he prefers the floor or the bed in the spare room. It's soft and very comparable. The grandkids love it too. Okay. So. Our Fur-Beast barely let me get this down, before laying on it. He laid down on it when it fell, while I was moving the old one. Except it was upside and not where it was supposed to be. Lol. Although he immediately started using the new bed, he still prefers the hard floor or the bed. Spoiled punk. At least he uses it sometimes. It's great though. Washable and nice material. Overall, its a nice quality, bigger than I expected and pretty comfortable. Just not as uncomfortable, yes, I said uncomfortable, as the hard floor, for our Fur-Beast. Or as big and roomy as the spare bed. My beast doesn't chew on anything, so I don't know how chew proof it is. But it's fabric and foam, so I doubt it's chew proof at all. Definitely easy to clean though. Just remove the cover and wash. Well regardless of my Fur-Beasts weirdo behavior, I totally recommend.

This dog bed is a decent deal in my opinion for large-xl sized dogs. While the foam isn't super dense, it does support my bloodhound. She's around 109 lbs and doesn't sink to the bottom of the bed when laying down. My niece was even able to lay down on the bed with my bloodhound at the same time to watch tv when she came over to visit.As for breathability my dog ends up leaving the bed during midday when the sun hits the house causing the temps to increase. I don't think it breathes enough for her during the warmer hours but I will verify this later in the summer.So far it's been easy to wipe clean though from drool and some spilled food. The cover withstood one wash/air dry cycle already as well.

Chew RESISTANT, yes, but definitely not chew proof. Cleaning isn’t very easy since getting the cover back on after washing is right up there w/ wrangling an alligator. The size is great for golden retrievers & other large dogs & the cushion is nice & seems comfortable…especially for older dogs. So far, this bed is a winner in my house but if anything changes, I’ll come back & edit my review.

This review is for the Veehoo Orthopedic Foam Dog Bed. We ordered it in the large size and the gray + blue gray color. This dog bed replaced one that was about a couple years old. The two dogs immediately went to this one with both out. This bed fits two 70/75 lb pit bulls that cuddle up together when they sleep. We also like the removable/washable cover and would not consider a dog bed without one. I like that this dog bed is offered in multiple colors and sizes. There is also a carrying handle sewn to one side. I don't find it adds anything, but it's there if you would like to use it. The dog bed seems decently made, and the pricing seems fair (at least with all the increased costs in materials over the past couple of years). I'm optimistic that this dog bed will hold up fairly, but only time will tell. On a side note, the mattress and cover are separate in the box, so you will need to put together. You can also wash the cover if you like prior to first use.
