Veehoo Chew-Proof Dog Bed - Silver Aluminum Frame

So have had this bed in my dogs kennel for a while now and I'm very happy. It's holding up to a 90lbs Sheppard and a 50 lb mix. It's was small enough to work where I need it to and strong enough to hold both dog. They are aggressive chewers and it has not been damaged at all.

We purchased the XL for our 1 1/2 year old, 120lb Mastiff. So far he likes the bed. Time will tell how well it will hold up to his weight. I am happy this company offers a replacement cover for the XL on their site.

Just arrived and awesome. It comes disassembled but it is super easy to put together (has instructions, but you really don't need them). I'm impressed with the quality, the looks, and the strength. I have it setup in my home office/guest bedroom and I feel like this bed will last a long time. Pearl (in the picture) is our 11 month Olde English Bulldogge. As soon as I finished assembling it, I put it on the floor and she climbed right up to test it and seems to love it. Pearl weights about 50 lbs and loves the cool mesh soft mesh... She is not really a chewer (thankfully) but this looks pretty resilient. Highly recommended!!! Thank you.

I bought this bed about 5 or 6 month ago, after we had went through 3 raised beds from lidl, 4 high quality beds from a local pet shop and countless duvets. Somehow it was great fun for our 1 year old Rottie to chew them up and throw the filling around the house. With this bed now, it has survived the lonely nights without a hooman present and also 4 puppies, as we foster and so dar had a pair of 12 week old Rottweiler pups and a pair of very chew happy greyhound pups. Thumps up for this one, it's being used indoors at night and outdoors during the day on nice days.As a side note, my 16 year old lab hasn't used it, I think it's too high of the ground for her and she is happier snuggling in her somewhat torn bed.

My dog really likes this bed it’s very large I got the x-large bed and as you can see it compared to my dogs old bed on top lol. It was pretty easy and simple to get put together besides when you get to the last metal pieces you have to assemble, the black material is not that stretchy and was very difficult to put with the metal pieces but other than that I say it was a great buy!

Unless your dog can chew aluminum, it is very chew-proof. The only chewable parts of this bed are the canvas sleeping surface and the plastic feet that support the bed. I have yet to see my dogs try to chew either of these softer materials. It is very easy to clean. If you decide to scrub/wash it with soap and water drying time isn't long unless you decide to soak it for a bit. Assembly is fairly easy. A hex key is provided to assemble it. Other hardware included are extra self locking nuts and hex head bolts. The only (minor) problems I've come come across while assembling this is you may need two people to do so since it requires some tension in order to assemble it. The other one really wasn't an issue as it is more of a trick in assembling things: that it is to not tighten the hardware all the way until all hardware is installed. Otherwise you might think the bolt holes are mis-drilled like I initially did on the second bed I ordered. Overall I'm happy I bought these beds. These two beds definitely help prevent calluses on my dogs. That was the main reason I made these purchases and not to mention comfort for the dogs to have while sleeping or resting.

I own/operate a small boarding kennel. I ordered these beds as an alternative to Kuranda because at the time (Covid) Kuranda wasn’t taking new orders. These beds are priced right, and theoretically they have a good warranty. The aluminum frame is durable. The bed screens are textured/tightly woven mesh. While this provide airflow, it gives the dogs too much purchase to dig. As you can see, one of the beds had been worn almost through from normal digging when a dog “makes” their bed. Two other beds were eaten through- right in the middle of the fabric! Another design flaw is that the feet of the bed are plastic, and have thus become a favorite chew point for bored dogs. Some of my kennel dogs like to flip the bed over, chew on the feet, and also work on the tiny bit of a seam of the fabric that there is on the underside of the bed. The company does not have a phone number which is quite aggravating to me, but they have communicated well via email. They happily sent me new screens for the beds, and they sent me replacement legs, but they were the wrong ones. In the end, I ended up getting all new beds to replace the damaged ones. The company did make it right in the end. I just know that for my kennel, these beds will not last like I need them to. One last thing- when you’re installing the beds, use a drill to put the corners together. It makes it so much quicker and easier. The first bed was slightly tricky to do by myself, but after the leaning curve it was no issue.
